Executive Assistant to MD

Job Title: Executive Assistant to MD

Reporting to: Office Manager | MD | Operations Director

Job Purpose: To assist the MD and other members of the management in administrative works.

Roles & Responsibilities :
  • Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing for the MD and other members of the management.
  • Arranging travel, visas and accommodation
  • Travelling with the MD to take notes or dictation at meetings.
  • Provide general assistance during presentations.
  • Screening phone calls, inquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments
  • Dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the MD.

Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Reporting to: Project Manager

Job Purpose: To ensure that all required Mechanical installations are executed as per shop drawings and specifications.

Roles & Responsibilities :
  • Get the approved Shop Drawings, MEP- Coordination Drawings & Work method statements.
  • Ensure the materials are available and approved by Inspection department prior to installation
  • Ensure sufficient hand tools, power tools, ladder and scaffolding are available for installation.
  • Coordinate with other discipline and ensure site clearance is available to start the Mechanical Activities.
  • Arrange the sufficient manpower such as Supervisor, Foreman, Duct fitter, pipe fitter, Assistant duct and pipe fitter, plumber, etc.., and ensure all of them attended safety orientation and having proper PPE’s prior start installation activities at site.
  • Provide approved Mechanical Shop drawing, MEP Co-ordination Drawing to site supervisor (or) Foreman and inform them to shift the required mechanical approved material from warehouse to site and arrange required material to avoid progress delay.
  • Prior to start Mechanical activities notify to QC Personal for surveillance to ensure the quality work.
  • To maintain safe all construction mechanical activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s safety policies and procedures; ensure that appropriate safety and protective equipment is used by Company & Contractor staff.
  • Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with approved shop drawing and Specification and get daily progress report from site supervisor and update to Project Manager.

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to: Commercial Manager

Job Purpose: To manage financial and contractual matters related to labour and material quantities required for the projects.

Roles & Responsibilities :
  • Thorough knowledge in Quantity Surveying, Provisional Sums, Prime Cost, Direct Vs Indirect Cost Breakup, Hourly Rates (Day Work), Plant Requirement, Contingencies, Backup for Waste, Financial Analysis, INCO Terms, Comparison Sheet, Plan Flow Chart, Man-Hors Calculation, Cost Breakdown Analysis, Risk Analysis, Time Delay Analysis
  • Aware application of Contracts such as FIDIC and Back to Back Contracts; Bonds & Guarantees, Technical knowledge of computer assisted design (CAD) software
  • Collect data from site visit and drawings, Independently, make interim payment application and final invoice before close out
  • Expertise with materials selection and cross check
  • Also, work includes but not limited to reviewing vendor price plus exclusions, preliminaries, BOQ breakdown, interim payment application, variations claims, extension of time claim, legal stipulations, comparison between earned value, actual value and planned value.
  • Monitors and directs and indirect cost against the budget code and budgeted cost to ensure revenues and objectives are met effectively.
  • Control the Company budgets and coordinate with Finance Team by analyzing cost effectiveness and direct cost control activities.
  • Provides Man-hours calculation for the MEP work breakdown structure.
  • Prepare financial reports related to project material and labour quantities such as cash flow
